Support, promote, and comply with Simon Code of Ethics, Workplace Conduct, Safety, and other established policies at all times.Support, promote, and practice Simon core values, vision, and mission.Frequent exposure to typical construction site conditions, including dust and loud noise, and all weather conditions.Frequently work in close proximity to heavy equipment and machinery, exposure to loud noise.Frequently required to sit for long periods operating equipment.Frequently required to Stand/work on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrain.Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear).Regularly required to use hands to feel, handle and manipulate objects.Regularly required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company safety guidelines.Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Valid drivers’ license and clean driving history required.1 year prior experience operating equipment and/or related experience preferred.Qualifications, Education, Skills and Experience: Set up and inspect equipment prior to operation noting any concerns or repairs.
#DREDGE OPERATOR INSTALL#
Connect pipelines between pumps and screen plants and lay additional pipes from equipment to shore.Move levers to place equipment in position for excavation.Maintain pumps and gaskets, tightening connections and adjusting pumps.Observe pressure gauges and flow meters, control winches, and regulate speed of pumps, control pressure and rate of flow of materials.Observe safety procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly.Support the Simon safety culture and other Company strategic initiatives.Operates power driven pumps to excavate sand and gravel, and transfer liquids, semi-liquids, or aggregate materials involved in aggregate materials production processes.
